Shimitae is one of those monsters that can kill one shot but requires great rune for it to shine. You can rune her with Fatal/Blade with slot 2/4/6 as ATK/CD/ATK and you will never go wrong. However the most ideal rune for her is Rage/Blade (ATK/CD/ATK) based on personal experience. You need a lot of Critical Damage to maximize the potential of its 1st skill that add additional Crit rate once it hits crit. It must be noted that at least you hit >50% critical rate to increase the chance of having your 1st skill proc and eventually maximizing the Critical Damage stats.

Comparing to other nuker, Shimitae have a high base HP thus a couple of +HP% through substats is desirable.

Additionally the leader skill of +24% speed to allies is great. Because of this, use her as leader and use chloe as a partner will guarantee a sweet spot for you to maximize the 3rd skill of shimitae. And to further maximize it’s potential, you can use darion to decrease the defence of the enemy monster. Once defence has been decrease on the enemy monster, even chloe can die one shot. Darion is a good partner for Shimitae because of the skill that decreases the defence and would effectively protect Shimitae against enemy nuker.
